Unique Beaded Necklaces

So you want a unique beaded necklace? You have two options:

1. You can find one to buy online. You can get them for as little as $1 and still get a great unique beaded necklace. Just make a username at Bidz to search their selection of beaded necklaces. They generally have a pretty good inventory to pick from. The prices there are up to 95% off retail. You can also try Amazon, there are generally some good deals there too!

Are those not quite unique enough for you? Well, then you have to do option 2.

2. You can make your own unique beaded necklace. This option is more fun, but can be more challenging, especially if it is your first time. However, if you are interested, I will give you a quick tutorial and some links you can use to design the perfect unique beaded necklace.

Not only can you look great by making your own unique beaded jewelry, it's also a lot of fun. Beaded necklaces are definitely the easiest necklace to get started with making.

To start, go to a bead store or craft store in your area so you can buy some beaded necklace supplies. You really only need some wires and cheap beads to try your first ones with. Start with the cheap beads to learn with then move on to more expensive gems once you have the hang of it. No need to waste money when you are starting out, in case you mess it up the first time.

Let's make a nice unique beaded necklace first. In the bead or craft store buy some wire, beads, two crimps and a clasp. Use more wire than you will need so you will have enough to attach the clasp on it also. Put your beads on the table in the design you want to make on the beaded necklace. String the beads onto the middle of the wire in the pattern you want. Use a piece of tape at the end of each design to hold your place on the beaded necklace. Use a spacer bead instead of the tape, if you have one.

At each end of the beaded necklace shift one of the crimps onto the wire. Add 1/2 of the clasp, then string the wire back through the crimp and use pliers and press strongly on the crimp. Next, remove the tape.

Now you have your beaded necklace. Sounds easy, doesn't it? You may have some problems making your first one or two, but you should be able to get the hang of it before long. After you get a good idea of how to make them, try to make more complicated patterns and use more expensive beads or gemstones.
