Begin with a large, clay flowerpot. Using white paint, spray or paint the pot thoroughly, including the bottom dish. Using a sporting team photo or logo, paint the team's mascot, etc. near the top of the pot. A stencil can also be used. This project can be used to house a large plant, flowers or be used as a colorful trashcan.

Our daughter used this project as an outdoor flower pot. She found that keeping the pot in the shade was her best method of using since the sun did fade the red logo when the temperature was above 100 degrees and humid. It was a gift she will value and treasure for a long time.
