United States Veterans

Men and Women that are serving in any military service in the United States is a hero to me. There fighting for our freedom in this country. I don't feel that the men and women are given enough recognition for there services. Lots of men and women are putting there lives on the line not knowing if they are going to come home safely. When a veteran dies, whether it's during active duty or not, there should be a memorial done in the town they live. Each town should plant a tree in there honor. Under the tree should be a plaque on a stand with there name, where they served and a short story about the person. Our towns need to know about the men and women that have died for us and what better way of educating the citizens by placing a plaque for everyone to read as they walk by it. If a town had 5 people that died then 5 trees should be planted along with 5 names. For as long as the town is around so will the men and women that died. This country the United States of America is a big country with 52 states and lots of cities and towns in each state. We have more than enough space to plant as many trees as we can and planting these trees is also good for the environment. Lets do something good for a change !

Yes, You and I are on the same page. Every person can make a difference. Veterans have all done this. It is time for more citizens to show appreciation.
