Universal Law Of Attraction: Common Mistakes Manifesting Abundance
62If you have been studying the law of attraction for any period of time, you already are familiar with the concept that “like attracts like” and that energy forms the basis of everything in existence. Because thoughts are energy, they can be used to manifest reality. I express the laws of attraction in this manner:
Reality equals thoughts amplified by our emotions
I believe most people fail to manifest their dreams because they fail to apply the second part of the equation. Your thoughts and feelings are the fuel that runs your conscious creation machine. If you use the wrong type of fuel, or taint it with water, your machine will not run.
Thoughts And Feelings Amplify The Law Of Attraction
Energy is persistent. It is moving into form, through form, or out of form. As everything in existence is energy, then we are made of the same things as our surroundings, and, therefore, we are all connected. It is this “connection” that allows you to manifest your reality through the use of conscious creation. More passionate thoughts, have more influence.
Whatever we think about with passion, positive or negative, affects matter on a quantum level. Energy attracts other energy that is vibrating at the same frequency. This is why you can use sound waves to shatter a glass. This is why you can use microwaves to cook food.
The human mind produces brain waves that change based on emotion. Positive thoughts and feelings attract people, circumstances and matter reinforce this belief. On the other hand, if you have negative emotions, you attract more people, things, and circumstances that will make you feel bad. This explains the concept of spiraling where you have days where everything “seems to go right” or where everything “keeps getting worse.”
Our Interpretation Of Events Colors Our Perception And Emotions
Circumstances are not good or bad. It is our emotional reaction to our circumstances that makes an experience good or bad. People who find themselves in terrible circumstances can still be happy, while those in the lap of luxury can be suicidal. This is illustrated by a famous Zen parable:
The Parable Of The Farmer
An old farmer had worked his crops for many years. One day his horse ran away. Upon hearing the news, his neighbors came to visit. "Such bad luck," they said sympathetically. "We will see," the farmer replied.
The next morning the horse returned, bringing with it three other wild horses. "How wonderful," the neighbors exclaimed. "We will see," replied the old man.
The following day, his son tried to ride one of the untamed horses, was thrown, and broke his leg. The neighbors again came to offer their sympathy on his misfortune. "We will see," answered the farmer.
The day after, military officials came to the village to draft young men into the army. Seeing that the son's leg was broken, they passed him by. The neighbors congratulated the farmer on how well things had turned out.
"We will see," said the farmer.
Thoughts Create And Color Reality
So you learn two lessons here regarding the power of thought. Not only does thought create reality, but also our interpretation of whether something is good or bad. As a result, you can maintain a positive mental outlook, even in the worst of circumstances.
You can avoid unnecessary negative emotions by refusing to judge a circumstance as either “good” or “bad”. Focus on feeling good despite your circumstances. You will feel great and maintain a vibration that is in line with manifesting and conscious creation using the secret law of attraction.
