I don't think you'll achieve much this way. I agree China should get out of Tibet. But US should get out of Iraq before becoming shrill about other imperial powers.

thanks Paraglider, I suppose I still believe in the power of people to instigate change, it is probably one the things that the general public here spend least time on.... sadly this American garden of democracy may be past saving...

I wish the U.S. had never gone into Iraq, but I will "try" to boycott things made in China...as much as possible, considering EVERYTHING is made in China.

Yeah I agree with Stacie- I'll try, but there are a TON of things made in China and India. I choose to boycot them because it's mainly made in slave labor sweat shops which I don't want to support.

Stacie and WedCon many thanks for the comments, i think it is important to make your feelings felt with your Representative and Senator... they are mostly human and will react to adverse criticism about the current position.... it may even be worthwhile to contact the Chinese but I have little faith in this corrupt regime of rich communists..
