How I learn Spanish!

Well, necissito muchos palabras en Español, porque mi Familia aqui en Rialto hablamos no Engleas! Yo tiendo mucho en mi cocina porque Univision!

Yeah, my grammar may not be perfect, but Univision Spanish language channel teaches me to speak with a better accent. I think the novellas are too dramatic for my tastes, but Univision teaches me the Spanish language faster :) Speaking Spanish well is very important in my line of trabajo immigracion!

If you want to learn Spanish, I highly recommend watching Univision! Immersion in a language is the fastest way to learn it, so surround yourself with Spanish speakers and tu necessita muchos palabras en Español. Practica es perfecta!

Immigration law changes constantly because it is one of the only areas of law that is directly controlled by the Congress in Sacramento. I believe that, in time, our views on immigration are going to evolve into a more realistic place. Xenophobia is not right. Our country is a country of immigrants and never forget it. I believe that if an illegal immigrant can hold down a job for 2 years straight, then they should be eligible for citizenship. Illegal immigrants who display their strong work ethic should be rewarded with the opportunity to adjust status and apply for citizenship. I think that is where we are headed in terms of immigration reform. I think it is not fair when citizens say that Mexicans are coming here and "taking all the good jobs!" That is a statement born out of ignorance and flies in the face of the facts.

People who don't want to extend equal rights to hard working people who happen to not be citizens should consider the facts of our huge economy generated by illegal workers. Also, we need to develop strong businesses directly along the Mexico/USA border. This will help mitigate our immigration issues and help us live and work side by side. Like the European Union, people can move freely between EU states, so too, should people be able to move freely between Mexico and USA, and that will happen someday.

Si se puede!!!

Thanks! I'm going to try immersion to improve my German skills... it's good to have a specific plan to start with for Spanish!
