Sounds nasty but ... not bad

We've all gotten really hungry before and felt like we could eat almost anything. Some of us, might get the munchies....there's nothing in the house to eat, so let's try this. I'm soooooo hungry! I've tried a couple of these and they're pretty good, although I don't deliberately set out to fix any of this.

Ok. Here's one:

peanut-butter/cheese sandwich - you make your peanut-butter sandwich, put a slice of chedder cheese on there and TOAST it. MMMMMmmmmmm! I was appalled when an uncle made this for me years ago but I was hungry so....

club crackers with maple syrup - crush up the saltine or club crackers in a bowl, add a tiny bit of melted butter if you wish. Just a tiny- tiny bit. Drizzle with maple syrup.

Ramen noodles with Horse Radish sauce- I like this one enough, I will eat it on occasion.

Coke and peanuts - this one I haven't tried yet but I will. My mother used to put peanut inside her Coke bottle and eat the peanuts out of it as she drank the soda. It was what they did back then. I will try this one day because I miss my mom alot and it's something I don't want to do on a whim. It sounds silly but, it would make me feel closer to her in spirit to share this moment with her.

salad and potato chip pieces- I accidentally discovered this one the other night but I really like the taste especially with a sweet dressing to offset the saltiness of the chips. Oh, yeeeeaaaaahhhhhh!!!!

Interesting Hub.

A couple of my favorites that my family turns their noses up at is a Peanut Butter, Mayo and Lettuce Sandwich and a Cream Cheese and Grape Jelly Sandwich.

A favorite of my husband is Hot Milk Toast (buttered toast in a bowl with hot milk poured over all). Frankly, it makes me gag! When he wants it, he fixes it!

My 4 year old grandson loves mixing up "concoctions" especially if it can be dipped in catsup!

Just to add a couple of things I've tried, out of desperation: Spaghetti sandwich, peanut butter and mayo sandwich, onion sandwich with mustard, pickle sandwich, and the always popular tuna and potato chip sandwich. Most of these taste better than they sound. I'll try your idea with ramen and horseradish, next.
