“While I Have Your Attention”
Abortion

Those of you with nothing but scriptures to offer may as well skip this chapter. This chapter is for leaders, thinkers and doers. Not followers.

The subject of abortion is shrouded in mystery. Mystery in the form of questions none of us have any answers for. Questions we must resolve non the less if we are to come to a sane conclusion on this subject.

As with all the other subjects throughout this book, we must make decisions based on the best information we have at the time and that’s all there is to it, we move on to the next problem. I would thoroughly suggest the use of a trickle down chart in this case as the subject of abortion is as about as complex and perplexing as they get and in terms of priority, it should rank at the top along with ending wars, and curing malaria.

Our inability to control our birth rate in this world most probably kills more people and causes more suffering then all other catastrophes combined. The negative trickle down effects of over population touches every aspect of life on earth including some animals that have been here millions of years. It’s time we brought it to and end with a little common sense and a global crash course on birth control. Controlling our excessive growth rate ourselves is a hell of a lot less catastrophic than letting Mother Nature control it for us!

First, here a few up front questions to think about:

What is life and what is the significance of life?

Does life begin at birth or at conception?

Should we bring life into a world unable to cope?

Do we have the right to end the existence of a fetus? If so, at what stage of growth?

Do we have the right to govern conception?

Should a women have the right to make these decisions on her own?

Should the male have a say in the decision making?

Should a government have a say in the decision making?

Should we look to religious organizations for answers to these questions? If so, which one?

I'm glad I'm not a Supreme Court Justice on this one. Fortunately, in my mind and experience, the question, although a tough one indeed, must follow the same guidelines of fact, reality, logic, common sense, and truths as we’ve studied throughout this book. One cannot omit these realities simply because a question is unpleasant or has no black and white answers. On the contrary, it is profound questions like this that make thinking Up One Level a requirement of survival rather than a simplistic method of eliminating a problem.

Profound and complex questions like this should be investigated with trickle down charts as I’ve illustrated in the last chapter. No one human can possibly keep his minds eye on the enormous quantity of information, emotional considerations, various subjects, and spinoff’s
one must contemplate in order to come to a logical conclusion on such a complex and controversial question as abortion. I would go so far as to suggest separate chart studies be done on individual questions. The conclusions of these charts would then be used to determine a final result and further refinement of various situations.

I would bet few people have ever come close to seeing, let alone understanding what a trickle down chart on this subject would provide in new thoughts, new information, spin off subjects, obvious answers, and potential ramifications of all of the above. I would also bet 99% of you thumpers came to your conclusions based on religious philosophy alone. Not a smart idea but much easier for those of you not willing to think for yourselves. You religion driven pro-
life fanatics have absolutely no arguments to offer other than your slobbering faiths that can’t be substantiated one tiny little bit. As a true matter of fact any idiot with open eyes can see that your pro-life theory is the one and only “root cause” of infinitely more deaths in this world than abortion could ever be responsible for If you could figure a way out of your damned
religious cocoons for a few minutes you might be able to see the pro-life you’ve been screaming about for years is nothing but BS as you’re about to find out in this chapter.

As you will see, I’m not talking about one woman, her rights, and whether or not to have an abortion, I’m telling you that our current systems of procreation causes tens of millions of deaths each and every year. To deny this fact compares to claiming mosquitoes don’t
spread malaria.

Most of you will make earth-shattering arguments like “it’s God’s will,” “the scriptures say,” or “it is not for us to question” and get away with it too. Not around me Bubba!

When I see children suffering and dying by the millions because of completely ignorant arguments like that, all I can do is hope you get medical attention as fast as possible. We need not converse any further. I have no interest in futile debate with you brainwashed masses while our children starve to death day in and day out. It’s going to be eons before you morons eliminate the question of abortion all together so lets get to it. Let’s look at the facts, let’s look at reality and see if we can’t muster some common sense and team work. You
are reading this book aren’t you? That in it self indicates“interest.” At least we got the ball rolling!

Speaking of common sense, I believe it was Voltaire, the French writer and philosopher that said some 250 years ago: “Common sense, is not so common.” He ought to be posthumously awarded a Nobel Prize in Literature for that one singular insight.

Our Supreme Court enacted the Roe v. Wade law in January, 1973 but that was only the first step. National moral clarity is required here to make it an accepted lifestyle as with racial equality, not simply a law. Once again, it is all of “you” that have the final say. Unfortunately,
most of you make your decisions based on religious fairy tales that have been engrained in your souls for endless centuries. Right or wrong, fact or fantasy has become irrelevant. You have been programmed to argue your point without any knowledge or concern of anything
other than your programming allows, your personal religious dogma.

Danger, danger, danger!

You will either do nothing, or most probably make the wrong decisions and come to the wrong conclusions as is so blatantly obvious right this second in respect to controlling our birth rate for instance.

At this juncture I’m going to include a copy of the Supreme Courts decision on Row v. Wade which includes reasoning I think relevant if you are to know this subject well enough to draw intelligent conclusions of your own. Much thought was given this subject by our nations wisest and most coveted decision makers. Read it! It is your responsibility to know all there is to know before you go shooting off your “the scriptures say,” mouth.

Overcrowded world with millions of problems is certainly not wise. I would always vote for "common sense" and responsible birth control according to the resources our planet (do not) have...

Thumbs up.
