Do you want to use multiple Google accounts in one browser? Then you can use Google Chrome to access two different Google accounts.

Many users have multiple Google accounts and Google Apps accounts, so if you want to use two different accounts in either regular Google or in Apps, then you have to log out from one to access another. But with Google Chrome, you can access them both in the same browser without logging out from either account.

Google Chrome has a “incognito” mode feature, where you can browse safely and without storing any of your information or cookies. By opening one of your accounts in a regular tab in Google Chrome and another one in incognito mode, both the information of either accounts are kept separate from interfering with each other.

To open multiple Google accounts, follow these steps:

1.) Open the Google Chrome browser.

2.) Log on to one of your Google accounts in one of the tabs.

3.) To open another window, press “Ctrl+Shift+N”, which will open an “incognito” window, where you can log on to another Google account.

4.) Now you can open all the applications in Google in both of these windows, without interfering with each other.

Google explains this process as follows:

"Webpages that you open and files downloaded while you are incognito won't be logged in your browsing and download histories; all new cookies are deleted after you close the incognito window. You can browse normally and in incognito mode at the same time by using separate windows."

When you close the “incognito window” all the cookies are deleted from the browser. To access your account again, you have to log in once more. The only limitation is you can open only two accounts at a time, which however is not a bad one.

I also do this in Firefox but with a different method. I open one Google account in one tab and open another Google account with an “IE View” tab, which opens the page in Internet Explorer mode and thus keep both accounts separately.

Hi cgull8m, it looks like a complicated process, simplified. :) I'm not sure why people would use two google accounts anyway.

Ahh...I was always wondering a way to do this. I have multiple Google accounts and haven't gotten around to making them all one account.

LearnAboutLaw, go to settings and forward the emails to one account or you can set filters. If you need any help how to do it let me know.

Thanks AR, I haven't tried Mozilla Prism. I wish Google have their own application like Outlook or Thunderbird.
