I read the other day someone was talking about we as writers or a blogger should use their real name and real picture. A pen name is a pseudonym used by a writer. A Ghostwriter.

Here you can be anything you want to be.

Here you can write about anything you want to write about.

Here you do not have to be the person you are in a normal day.

Here you can write about anything you want to.

Here I can escape my real world.

I could be in jail or in prison or on a cruise ship or in hiding.

In my opinion is it fine to write on blogs and make hubs in a anonymous board such as this. Here you have the opportunity to write whatever you desire and some may be interested enough that they can read it and if they desire they can let their opinion be known.

I think personally that if you are a doctor or a lawyer or an accountant or a priest or a bus driver or a panhandler or a sales person or anything you are by day and or by night and here you can be something else. A house wife can tell us her stories about her children and those that can identify with her will read her stories. Those that are successful can tell us about that. Others can tell us about travel and some tell us about their friends. Some what to tell us about their life experiences and others tell us about saving money or making money while some try to take our money. 

Lots of people are single many are married and some are single once again not by choice. Some are healthy and some are sick. Some are unemployed and some are not. Lots of people like to see their names in the lights and others don't. Some give money away and some don't. 

On the bottom of my email where lots of people put their education level or their position with a business and I put LITS. Some ask what that means others don't.

It means Life is Too Short.

I believe here you have the opportunity to live a part of your life that at this time you can't for whatever reason. You can be black and or white or a different color. You can be from the US or where ever you came from and live in America cause that is what America is all about. 

I think that here it doesn't matter. What matter is that you write about things that may help and or entertain others. Life is about adventures and from those adventures you have stories and that is the basis of the blogs. 

Stories is what it is all about. The stories can be about an adventure on a vacation or an adventurous day. It can be about a career change but when it gets down to it. Your name or your real picture has absolutely nothing to do with it. 

I think if you knew I was really Count Dracula then you'd think differently of me. Heck I may be Elton John for that matter or well I guess JRATL would mean I could be well let me think of some one. I could be the mayor of Atlanta tossing ideas at you. I could be your neighbor telling stories about you or about myself. I would I guess be from Atlanta. Okay you guessed it I am from Atlanta. The JR part though let me think. Oh I could be JR from Texas and I live here now. No that seems silly let me think. One quick visit to the web for a name. 

How about Jack Russell. Ugh.

I now think this could be a game. Who am I. Read the blogs and figure out who I am. No one cares so it goes.

A quick visit to search on JRATL and well it is interesting. You can see that I have asked Google a few questions so I use it on Google. JRATL is using Twitter. Twitter is a free service that lets you keep in touch ... Thank you JRAtl7:08 AM Apr 14th from web; Updating my Blog on Blogger. 

Well I found that I use it on Twitter well this is getting scary. 

I must say this everyday. I am a salesman. My business is seliing computer products to corporations and consumers only interacting by my web site. I made a typo and it is on the web. I need to be careful about that. 

Then I have an ad on the Atlanta Journal Constitution and I guess if you search on that you can read what I am selling. I inherited it and we are selling it. In most cases you can copy anyones email address into the web and see what they have been up to. Do you know that.

Much like if you ever win the lottery. The day I win the lottery my wife and I will be the ones sitting there with the brown paper bags over our heads with large smiles painted on them. If everyone knew it was us that won 245 million dollars everything would be different. We didn't win so you don't have to suspect that. Anyway,

I think that if anyone that knows me happens to see any of my stores on the web or anywhere they will know it is me. They will know without a doubt it is me. Yep they will say it is JR.

Enough of that. I believe in spending a little time here in blog land and not using my real name. I do not think it matters. It doesn't matter to me so why would it matter to anyone else.
