A Quick, Effective Treatment for Shingles

Spending 25 years in the health care industry, I came upon many different ways of treating some common ailments. Shingles affects a huge number of the elderly population and has been difficult to treat. First I am not and RN, nor am I an LPN, but I have worked as a PN(Practical Nurse) for 75% OF THE 25 years.

The rest was head injury rehabilitation, which I have extensive knowledge in if anyone needs some helpful hints on how to deal with minor or major problems.

Back to shingles! I have used this treatment with 100% success on well over 100 patients. In most cases the shingles were gone--that's right, GONE within a week! Discomfort was often reported as much better within a couple of days and some sooner.

Treatment:

1. First wash your hands and apply gloves! Prevent the spread of infection!!!

2. Then outline the affected area with vaseline, enough to make sure cotten batten will stick. Shingles spreads with leaking blisters and fingers.

3. Line the vaseline with cotten batten. Make sure the area is completely contained.

4. Soak the affected area in Hydrogen Peroxide. Not the dripping kind of soak, just make sure you have applyed to the entire area, well!

5. Allow the peroxide to sit until it stops festering. Gently pat with cotton to remove excess and allow to dry.

6. Repeat this procedure 2x per day until affected area is healed.
