Using the Basic of Windows Registry Repair Cleaner softwares

There is Windows registry software available to clean up your registry. The registry is a database in which all the settings and options for running the operating system are stored. This includes settings for all preferences, users, software and hardware. The registry is changed when you go into the Control Panel and make changes. No matter the version of Windows you are running the registry file accumulates nonfunctioning files or entities.

Windows does not come with registry cleaning software. Microsoft did produce Regclean, registry-cleaning software, to deal with the registry file but as the Windows operating system changed they discarded the software instead of updating it. Other companies have developed effective software to clean your Windows registry file. A clean registry is desired as this speeds up your computer considerably.

JV16 PowerTool 1.3.0.195 is a free version of JV16 PowerTools 2005. It scans you disc and lists items that are safe to remove. There are probably other items that could be removed but since it is free the designers probably decided to be overly cautious. This program is great for a quick and light clean of your registry file. JV16 Powertools are available in several different forms. The full Powertools suit includes several maintenance tools but you can also purchase these tools separately. They include RegSupreme and RegSupreme Pro. You can also clean in two ways, aggressive and regular.

EasyCleaner was the top product for many years before JV16 PowerTool and it is still highly recommended. The program is reliable and can be downloaded for free. When scanning a disc it finds all problems with one scan so you do not have to do multiple scans which can take time.

Registry Mechanic tool is another registry cleaning software. It is not as powerful as the above-mentioned programs but still will clean up your registry file. You can purchase the full software or download a limited version for free. Some additional registry cleaning software that is available includes CleanMyPC, RegistryFix, The Registry Drill, RegistryMedic, Registry First Aid, and Registry Repair.
