First there was the unforgettable Flavor of Love series in which Flavor Flav of the rap group Public Enemy went in search of his lady love for approximately three seasons. For now, it appears he has indeed found his lady love.

On Sunday, July 15, 2007, VH1 debuted it's latest installment in the ____of Love series. This time we find Bret Michaels of the rock group Poison in search of his lady love. He claims to be looking for a woman with both the looks and the brain. We should all wish him the best of luck as his pickings aren't of the highest qualities. There are several girls and women on this show who have already demonstrated some signs of behavioral and mental instability. What in the world is going on in America? How could there be so many women amongst us with such low standards and such little brain power?

Sadly, based on Bret's criteria for his perfect girl, this show could easily end within a matter of three weeks as there are probably only two or three women on the show with the looks and the brain. Several of the girls appeared to be high on some unnamed substance and completely unaware of how to compose a single sentence or even put together a full thought for that matter. Meanwile, others seemed to struggle with how much intelligence to exhibit on the first day.

Portions of the show are painful to watch, yet it is hard to turn away as one cannot help but to hope that there is one woman amongst this valley of silicone with a brain and that Bret will actually make the right decision. If any of these girls go to Charm School, Monique will definitely need back-up.
