Varanam Ayiram Movie Story

Surya(krishnan)-Simran(malini) fall n love... the song shows their love n romance + mundhinam paarthene...Their son is the young surya(SURYA itself) and he is having a passion for singing Yethi yethi song shows hins boyhood wen he was in njoying his schooldays.. its portraited like day..like in dat of early 90's movies... Divya spandana was Surya's childhood friend.

He had a good company wit his friends... But he has to get into some troubles with the outside guys n he usually got beaten up... The only one to vch he says his prblms is his father..n he is really a mentor for him.. the boy grows up-joins college..there too he had to face such challenges....

Then he meets sameera reddy while a train journey and falls in love with her.... He sings the song + nenjukul peidhidum, in college festival...

Later, sammera moves to U.S for higher studies

Surya misses her a lot....

Surya also goes to US and meets her..sameera falls in love with him him..then the song + adiye kolluthe..

sameera dies there in an accident..Surya gets heartbroken and he returns to india and because of the sadness he uses drugs n get addict wit drugs & alchohol.

His parents get worried about him, then the song.....anal mele....

Father wants his son back and tell him to workout rather than using drugs & drinks

Surya starts working out at gym and later he joins army for a change

After he returns from the army, his old friend divya proposes him

Surya accepts her and marries her after few struggles

They will have a son.., he grows up..

Surya waits at the bus stop waitng for his son's skool bus(just like wat his father used to do) ..entire story is narrated as flashback by younger surya.... :-)

Surya has finished this Movie.. and he gets prepares himselft for his next movie AYAN... 

Just now watched Vaaranam Aayiram. Mind blowing film.....Simply Extra ordinary! A milestone film in Surya's career...First half was fantastic and Second half was fully touching..All ive to say is my eyes were wet after coming out of theater!! Never seen such a fantastic film..

jus now watched...........!!! amazing film.... wat to say... its a movie about our life.... its reallly touching... surely it worth to watch...hats off to gautam and surya......

This film is a neat and a classy film .....Very beautiful and poetic...

Best of Gautham's ....BGMs were nice ...Song picturisation was so well done...Editing and Camera was just perfect...Rajeevan's art was mindblowing ... Nenjukkul song rocked ...The only negative point is tat the screenplay was too slow. Tats y ppl did not like the film.Who can sit for 3 hours and 20 minutes? Neat and nice film though... Please do watch it in theater.... Pray tat it should run for over 100 days.. Lots of hard work has been put in... Enjoy guys...

"Everyone's biography - Thats Vaaranam Aayiram". Almost all scenes can be seen in your own lives...romance doesn't go overboard. again it happens in everyone's life and was very natural! Some of us who watched the preview may feel the movie slow but remember its a very very heavy subject to handle and Gautam made sure he narrated it in the best

possible way! Messages given in the film are not one but many!
