Valentine's Day- Please Don't Give Me Candy!
60Candy, No Thanks!
Valentine's Day almost always meant I would be hoping for one of those gorgeous boxes of candy. Is that what you always want?
Flowers or jewelry added along were okay, but that box of candy was longed for, much more. How ridiculous, when along through the year candy is bought usually weekly, or daily.
How often do you receive a beautiful bouquet of flowers? Not nearly as often, I'm guessing. Some holidays might be about it.
What about jewelry? A ring for your birthday, maybe a bracelet for Christmas. Sometimes even a necklace with matching earrings comes along.
Considering people being more weight-concious these days, well, some of us, that is, makes candy low on the list for this Valentine's Day. How about a made by yourself card that would delight any lady?
It's enough to think about. Maybe the lady in your life might not be wanting candy as bad as you think she might. A few questions at this point might not hurt.
Thinking about your family and children, it would also probably be a good idea to give them something besides candy. Chances are they had this at school, or other parties.
Here's to Valentine's Day. Let's hope it's a great one!
