Save Money on Valentines day

Valentines day can be a very expensive day, treating your lover, wife, husband, girlfriend or boyfriend can cost the earth, and your money could be better spent paying for the upcoming wedding, home improvements, utility bills, your mortgage or your rent.

You don't actualy have to spend a fortune to show some one that you love them you can make the day special in many other ways and impress that special person at the same time.

THE ROMANTIC MEAL

Romance is in the air, instead of booking that expensive restaurant to impress your loved one which can cost a fortune, cooking at home is a good option nothing too complicated or expensive.

you can find some cheap and easily made valentines day recipe's here.

After the meal instead of going to the cinema to see a romantic movie, its more personal and less expensive to snuggle up on the sofa with a cheap bottle of wine and some snacks, and if things get hot you haven't got far to travel home.

Great advice, Jimmy, especially for married people. It is difficult to impress the love of your life with an expensive gift on Valentine's Day when you have to pay for it with money from your joint account. The creativity and thought behind the gifts you describe make them from you whereas with the expensive ones it seems like you are giving a gift and having the receiver help pay for it. Good work and good advice. Thanks
