Please don't kill me!

First, this is a total waste if you didn't read vampire academy. Well if you haven't heard of the series then i bet you are missing a lot. But for those who are interested in this series you can find then on www.scribd.com all four books. Anyhow, i wrote this poem after reading book 2 (again and again) at night. And i know many people hate vampire stories or poems (*like CC** :D:D:D) but i have to confess that i have totally fallen in love (especially with Dimitri Belikov = ie if you read the story you will know why :S). I hope you enjoy the poem though it is a little too romantic for vampires. :D

Her inner damp oceans of twisted emotions suck me out of my sleeping lair

Her hate and anger decapitate into mine as I lay an eye on her face so fair

The flirtatious wind carries notes of sweetness while playing with her black hair

Her pain-my/our loneliness, I no more can bare

Long silky hair over her face, where tears have unwillingly gone astray

Her intoxicating cries hold on to me further torturing me, making me sway

Surrounding me, bounding my body of lies to her cries beautifully like sun ray

Red scars around my heart, some around her wrists oh she is so lonely

My little lair has turned dark, cold over the millennium I confess sadly

I gasp as my fangs shriek at me endlessly pushing me to pierce her skin

To taste a drop of her lovely blood to feel my whole dark universe spin and sing

Yet I stop for the first time to ask her approval

“Immortality as a price to loneliness’s removal”

Can she accept me to be her dark savior, her vampire knight?

Can she accept to be my dark lawful princess of the night?

“May I sweep you of your feet, away from this forsaken land and take the pain away?

If you pledge to remain eternally by my side then yes, no worries, Yes you may,

A shot at immortality with me as her knight and she as my eternal bride

Joining hands while dancing under the moon together on a star we ride

As long as the loneliness is silenced

As long as our heart is balanced

A perfect match, an immortal with a half of a heart broken, with a tortured soul

While her remains of a heart click with mine like a key and a lock making both whole

She lets me hold her in my arms and feel the warmth

Her lips touch mine as my fangs brush on her skin and mouth

“Will you be my bride and share my cozy lair? Together we can conquer the madness

Yes! As beasts of the dark saviors of each other’s souls we can get a shot at happiness

Her heart beat steadily for the last time playing a musical symphony

I taste her blood on my lips savoring the astounding heat and harmony

The dark night gives us the closure we once madly seeked

Our hearts beat as one nothing left to say as we have been freed

Of the madness

Of the loneliness

Of the insanity

Of our inhumanity
