Vanessa Chantal Paradis was born in Saint Maur des Fosses France. She is a singer and actress and has also done many commercials. She is well known for the song "joe le taxi" which she recorded at aged 14.

She was initially discovered on a TV show called L'Ecole des fans and has been in a long term relationship with Johnny depp. They have a daughter called Lily Rose Melody Depp and son "John Christopher "Jack Depp III" although they are not married and have been having a happy long term relationship.
