About VeggieTales
VeggieTales is an animated series of shows with the characters being mostly anthropomorphic veggies with the occasional anthropomorphic fruit. Each episode or movie teaches Christian morals with entertaining plots that appeal to kids around ages 3 to 8. The episodes often include Silly Songs with Larry the Cucumber along with catchy songs that are within the plots. The episodes and movies always have a moral it reinforces/teaches. This is sometimes achieved through plots that are parodies such as the Wizard of Has being a parody of the Wizard of Oz. Other times the moral is taught by telling a VeggieTales version of a Bible story. In this case the episode is based on a Bible story, but is reinvented to make it entertaining for kids to watch while keeping the important aspects of the story in tact.
