Noah at PhoneDog is one of those guys who has a pretty cool job. I'm not the biggest tech-head, but I have been interested in the cell phone market and the new amazing smartphones that are coming out.

The Verizon Motorola Droid seems like it may be a game-changer. It runs on Google's Android 2.0 software. I know, it seems like the big "G" is taking over. The Droid looks like it may be able to steal some thunder from the iPhone, which was really successful for AT&T and Apple this past year.

An exciting thing about the Droid is that they are working on some very precise and user-friendly GPS systems and interface that may even further change the game. Watch an in-depth review of the Verizon Droid in the video below.

In another interesting tidbit about the Droid phone. Regardless of how well the phone sells and performs in the market, there is one individual who has already made money off the manufacture of this Motorola-designed phone.

It turns out that Lucasfilm, Ltd., George Lucas' film company, owns the trademark to the word "Droid." Now that's good business sense.
