What Should I Be Videoing In My Business?

What To Video?

I used to have this questions until I put a video camera in my hand.

That was all she wrote. I'm always documenting. It's actually quite embarassing to some and occasionally me. But the point is, everything is relevant. And you can use a basic camera or portable video camera like this Flip camera here.

Trust me...once you get started, your family, friends, and collegues will be begging you to put the camera away.

What I mean is that you're going to suddenly find endless material once you get started.

So let me give you some ideas of what I've videoed and think would be great for you.

When I'm not videoing, I'm either writing songs, building websites, or occasionally public speaking.

So what do I video - I video testimonials from folks who've liked the work I've done with them or for them.

I also video my thoughts and opinions about current issues.

I put together tutorials about the work I do that I think would be helpful for my clients.

This educates them and helps me.

So for example, let's say you're a dog groomer.

You notice you get the same kinds of questions from new clients. You can educate them and build repoire with them at the same time by using video to answer their questions.

You can video your most popular services.

Perhaps the easiest thing to do is video your customers with testimonials raving about your services.

Those are just a few brief tips, but of course there are so many more things you can do.

So stay tuned and sign up at VideoYourBiz.com for our video case study series

You'll get tips, ideas, and real world examples of how we're using video to help our clients and can help you too.
