I am finding a terrific buz here on hub pages, where the standard of creativity is at an all time high, and i know others are feeling it too.....
I have been looking at Cris A's challenge thingy and reading some of the work it has produced, I am overwhelmed with Dohn's poem, and indeed the story behind it..... inspiration started working for me as i read his words, and this song came into my mind...
The words; yes I know how lonely life can be,
the shadows follow me and the night wont set me free
but i wont let the evening get me down
Now that i am around you...
It is such a long time since i heard that song, though i did listen to it often at one time, but it is amazing how the creativity from Cris has spread to Dohn, and now on to me.
This is what is so special about hub pages. Everyone on here, is creative, and adds that something special, i wonder if we as artists, really appreciate what we have............ something that has never before in history, been at our fingertips.
I have been to art classes, writing groups, evening a little acting, but that was not for me.... Every where i could pick up vibes from other artists and feel the passion, but never so much as i have from hub pages. Long may it last.
How many miles are we away from each other Don, myself and Cris A but we are sparking creativity from each other and for each other..... Long may it last.
I came so meek and humble,
And could not even spell....
You welcomed me with open arms
Encouraged me to tell,
Not computer literate,
Nor educated I.....
Just wanting to be a writer,
To find my wings and fly...........
I found Cris in first sentence,
His words always so kind......
I welcomed Dohn... was his first fan,
A treasure i did find
There's years ahead for all of us
Creativity galore
I thank you for your encouragement
Helping my writing skill to soar......
Right up there, where you two are,
I want what you two have........
A voice, a kindly attitude, encouragement
Along the way,
Celebrating achievements
When others have their say.......
An improved vocabulary,
I am striving for............
Success at communicating
Near and far
Challenge away
Let us rise and shine
