Vision of a fire came true.

I don't remember the year it happened in this small Northeast Texas town, sometime between 1983 and 1987 I believe. I was having alot of visions that I chose to ignore because they were usually disturbing things that I didn't want to think about, so I didn't say anything to anyone when the bad things came in my mind. My neighbor was used to me tell her about my premonitions or visions if you will, and they were usually bad things, but by telling her, I thought I could help prevent or warn people from things happening. Sometimes I could name colors or the house or place, but not always the person. My birth father who has this gift, called me one night and I told him about all the disturbing things I was seeing and asked him how to put them to rest because I was losing sleep worring about wheather or not I should tell anyone in fear they wouldn't believe me or take me serious or if I could give the right person, the right information. He told me to get one person who knew of what I was going through, that would support me in my delimma and when I had another vision, to write it down with just exactly what I saw, nothing more or less, without trying to figure out who, what, where or when, just the immediate facts. Then he told me to take what I had written down and put it in an envelope and seal it, write the date on the envelope and give it to the person I trusted. When the vision came true, I was to get that trusted friend to open the envelope without me telling them what I saw, so they could see the details and it would help me to know how close I was to getting the vision in a clearer view. He wanted to teach me how to use this gift that was hard for me to handle. I was anxious too often and he was insisting that I shouldn't fight it. He kept insisting that it was a gift like his that I needed to learn to use. I, on the other hand, knowing that I had this gift since the age of 4, never had these visions so often and so clear. Maybe God needed to use me? My mother had always told be to keep it to myself and not tell anyone, never telling me that my father had it too. My parents were divorced when I was 18 mos. old. My father lived in a town 100 miles away and we talked often when I needed him. I was 26 when I finally asked him why I was getting more and more premonitions without doing anything to prevoke them. He always said it was your" third eye", your pituitary gland and some people have it stronger than others. I was never sure I wanted it!

Just a couple of nights later, I was cooking supper and squated down to find a can of corn. I felt a little dizzy, mainly because this old house we lived in didn't have air conditioning and it got pretty warm while cooking in the kitchen. As I was holding on to the cabinet door, I closed my eyes to compose myself and I immediately saw a red building and fire coming out of the window. When I saw that vision, I held on a little longer to see if I could bring it back in my mind to see if I could catch anymore details and really to make sure that what I saw was exactly that! Oh, it was bright and the fire was shooting out at what looked like a 45 degree angle. It was also dark outside in this vision.

I remembered what my father had told me to do and I immediately got my notebook out and wrote down the date and "Fire coming out of a window in a red building." I folded the paper, put it in a sealed envelope and wrote the date on the front. After supper I gave my neighbor the envelope and of course she tried to ask me what was in it but I told her that I would let her know when to open it. This was on a Tuesday night.

Two nights later, a Thursday, my husband and I were watching t.v. It was around 9:00 and I had just put the kids to bed. We had the front screen door open for some fresh cool air to come in. I had gotten up to go check on our baby crying and my husband yelled to me, being a professional firefighter himself in another town, "Diana, the school gym in on fire!" "Go get me some wet towels and bring them to me, I'm going down there to help the fire department!

Well, I got goosebumps and had the overwhelming feeling that my visions were never going to stop coming and it was making me frightened and wondered why me? Why so often?

We lived across the street from this small town school and the gym at the High School was an old red brick building. The town was only fortunate enough to have a volunteer fire department and didn't have enough men or equipment that they needed or the training as my husband felt, and I thought it was amazing at how his 5 years of experience at the time as a firefighter, helped him to respond so quickly at what he needed to help these men!

As I was getting the towels and wetting them as fast as I could in the bathtub, I cried and was shaking so uncontrollably, but hurried as fast as I could, realizing it was no time to think of nothing else. I ran down the street to my husband and he wrapped the towels around his head and shoulders, covering his face so that he could breath.

My neighbors from all over the block came outside and gathered around. When my friend from next door came out, she saw that I was crying and shaking. She hugged me and tried to console me and tell me it was going to be ok...I told her I needed her to go to her house and get the envelope. Her face lit up and she ran and got the envelope and came back excited. I told her to open it and see why I was so upset. She read the note of my vision of the red building and the fire coming out of the window. She stood back in amazment, yet looked like I had scored in some sort of contest and won. I didn't understand her excitement, I guess it was because everything I had told her came true, very close to what I had seen and it was often!

Apparently, in alot of small towns, teenage boys get bored and these boys, three of them, after weeks of pulling the stories out of them, had lit the girls high school gym gas heater, just to see what it would do. The heater hadn't been used in a while and the brass fitting had been taken off, so the boys used pliers to turn the gas on.

Of all the visions that I had before this one, my husband never wanted to admit that I had a gift and didn't want anyone else to know because he thought it would embarass him. From the note I gave the neighbor, and from the fire that night, and some other things I had tried to tell him about, he finally saw enough proof to see why I was so anxious all the time and didn't sleep or eat much that summer. He needless to say...believes me now!

I believe that visions of this sort received before a tagic event occurs are meant to help you warn others of the impending disaster so that the impact of it can be prevented or lessened. Information and circumstance ripe for such events are "out there" waiting to be discovered. Some people can pick up on the cues and others cannot. I pray that your visions help many people avoid suffering. Be blessed.

Yes. Thank you Patty for your kind and insightful words! I appreciate it. It's been over 20 years now since that fire vision and I've had many other experiences since then that I plan to write about. Yes, I have a hard time dealing with most of my premonitions that are scary but I just meditate and keep a journal like my father told me to do and use my precognitive vision to help others. I now believe that God has chosen me to help him help others. Thank you for your prayers Patty! God Bless you too!
