Nairobi is the capital city of Kenya and home to a diverse culture of people and a vast array of wildlife. If you are looking for a safari experience but dont want to have to camp in the bush then look no further as Nairobi is the place for you. The city centre is currently under renovation as part of the countries vision 2030 by which it hopes to be industrialized but still offers great opportunities for thrill seekers.

As you make your way up Mombasa road into the Langata area you will have a chance to visit the Kenya Wildlife Service Park which is situated close-by and offers a bus ride into the forest if you lack transportation, to catch a glimpse of the breath-taking scenery and eclectic selection of wildlife including the big five which are the rhino, buffalo, giraffe, lion and leopard. After admiring the wildlife you can make your way to the Carnivore Bar and Restaurant situated about 2 miles from the park and sample some game-meat and local beer. If you would like to view traditional artifacts and cold-blooded reptalia the National Museum is just a 15min drive away by Museum hill and should cost less than 5 dollars. Other popular parks include maasai mara, amboseli and lake nakuru park but unfortunately these are located on the outskirts of the city.

For those interested in the night-life Nairobi is not short of night-clubs, bars and event spots that one can go chill in an enjoy a lovely night out. amongst the most famous are Carnivore and westlands. Westlands boasts a vast array of clubs from Bluetimes,to blackdiamond and Red Tape.

So whatever your niche Nairobi has a variety of fun-filled activities to keep you entertained for the duration of your stay.
