Ever wonder what it's like to travel to Indonesia, I can assure you it would be the experience of a life time, especially Jakarta the Capital City,.. where should I start.. let me start by giving you a tip:
1. Do not use Bajaj as your mode of transportation (lol) it's loud, small, and move dangerously slow, you think I have typed it wrong NO, it really is moving that slow in a dangerous kinda way... (for those of you who doesn't know about Bajaj... its a three wheel vehicle that runs by 200 cc vespa engine - originally manufactured in India)
2. if you want to use a cab choose the blue ones that called BLUE BIRD its the best taxi in Indonesia, reliable, speaks english, and know their ways around Jakarta.
3. if you're ever in doubt just ask! unlike other country we are very friendly people, simply choose young-smart looking college people and voila! they speaks english..
4. SADLY you'll never find becak again in Jakarta, but not in other province... Yogyakarta, Solo (JAVA Island) still provide the becak ride experience,
more to come about jakarta, food, busway, shopping places...
