Vitamin E brings a lot of health benefits for the body and is particularly important especially for our skins, hearts, muscles and red blood cells. In addition, Vitamin E also protects our cell membranes as well as keeping our blood circulations and nerves healthy.

Although there are many benefits of Vitamin E, Vitamin E also helps in assisting the body in the thinning of blood, this property is particularly dangerous for individuals who are about to undergo surgery or have taken anti-coagulant medication, Therefore, it is generally adviced that these individuals do not exceeded the daily recommended limit of vitamin E. In excessive amounts, negative side effects can also result.

Additionally, studies have also found that smokers who take Vitamin E supplements have increased the risk of developing lung cancer. The incidents of lung cancer among smokers increased by 27% compared to those who do not take Vitamin E supplements at all. These are in addition to the many benefits of Vitamin E, their dangerous side effects should also be understood as well.
