Vitamin Supplements - Good Vs. Evil

Vitamin supplements come in all shapes in sizes. They vary wildly in color, consistency, texture, daily value, and effectiveness, as well as suggested dosage and directions for use.
Yet when it's all said and done, there are only two main groups of vitamin supplements on the market:
Natural and Synthetic.
Natural Vitamin Supplements
Natural Vitamin Supplements are generally found in capsule, powder, or liquid form.
They contain dehydrated, concentrated whole-food vitamins derived usually from plant sources: vegetables, fruits, grasses, grains, sea vegetation, roots, seeds, nuts, flowers, and other natural sources.
In capsule form, you will find a wide array of vitamins, including multivitamins and antioxidant formulations... the two types of vitamin supplement I most recommend.
Liquid vitamin supplements are also very popular and effective. Liquid chlorophyll (an amazing energy provider) and sublingual vitamins & minerals (dropped under the tongue and absorbed through the sublingual membrane).
Powerfully concentrated juice blends could also fall into the liquid vitamin supplements category.
The acai berry, when juiced, is an amazing example of a natural liquid supplement. So is wheatgrass.
A common example of a supplement in powder form is a "super greens" drink mix. These contain dehydrated grasses, among other powdered foods, including kelp, algae, brown rice, chlorella, and barley.
Again these vary quite drastically, but they are all super healthy and highly recommended!
Synthetic Vitamin Supplements
Synthetic Vitamin Supplements are far more common than their natural counterparts. These are the over-the-counter daily vitamins you see in your corner grocery or drug store.
They are made in laboratories by chemists who are desperately trying to duplicate the types of vitamins found in natural food sources.
These are "vitamin simulations" that just don't measure up. Our bodies don't recognize these chemicals as vitamins, but as intruders.
As if we don't have enough troubles on our own, now our cells have to work like crazy to eliminate these chemicals, along with the crushed-up rocks that are marketed as "minerals."
Evidence of this can be found in our urine, which often turns a bright fluorescent green. "Vitamin burps," heartburn, and the jitters are further evidence that this stuff is fake, and that our bodies want no part of it.
In Summary:
Go NATURAL! Natural supplements are easily recognized, assimilated, and used (what a concept) by our bodies.
When this type of nutrition is present, we will look and feel better than we ever have.
Our skin will be clear and radiant.
Our energy, mood, and mental clarity will be through the roof! We will look better and feel better than perhaps we EVER have!
To enjoy these benefits, simply do the following:
- Hydrate. 4 to 6 liters of purified water every day will flush out toxins and keep your cells plump and healthy.
- Eat well. Stop the fast food madness. Drink water, not soda. Substitute fresh fruit and/or yogurt for sugary snacks and desserts. By making just these easy changes, you will be way ahead of the game!
- Supplement. Get them at your local health food store. A whole-food multivitamin with chelated minerals, probiotics, natural enzymes, and phytonutrients is great. Add a high-powered antioxidant like the acai berry and you will absolutely rock!
And that's it! Easy to follow. Not too many steps. Just do these three things and your life will be enhanced beyond your expectations.
Now you may be asking "what about physical exercise?"
Listen, when you follow the three steps listed above on a daily basis, your body will be so energized... so vibrant... so alive that you will have no choice but to move! You'll want to dance, run, and skip all day long!
