Time to Update your Phone Service? Try VoIP!

VoIP service is definitely going to out pace old-school Ma Bell phone service in the near future. The following review will allow you to compare voip services.

This is a quick and dirty list of the top voip providers and their current special offers. Bottom line: VoIP service is quick and cheap to get started with, will save you money, is way more convienient (i.e. more features) than typical phone service, and it's portable. I can't really think of a reason not to get voip phone service today, perhaps this very moment, if you haven't already.

The only exception would be if you're 1) averse to saving money and 2) enjoy dealing with a pain in the a*s phone company that is stuck in the dark ages.

Lingo VoIP:

Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars.

Fast becoming an industry leader. Lingo offers some of the most competitive rates and plans available, especially on calls to India and South Asia. Award winning service, and very affordable.

Phone Power!:

Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars

This is an up and comer, but with some of the best promotional prices in the business currently. They offer unlimited local and LD for only $9.95 (for the first 3 months.)

Via Talk:

Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars

Award winning service at competitive prices. I especially like ViaTalk because of their daily specials and giveaways, including iPods given away daily to new customers.

Skype:

Rating: 4-1/2 out of 5 Stars.

Most people know skype as the "free internet phone calls" company. However, beyond just free calls to it's own members, Skype offers a whole range of other VoIP services, including some very well priced business VoIP plans.

Vonage:

Rating: 3-1/2 stars

Okay, if you haven't seen at least one TV ad, mailer, or flyer at the drug store in the past week, you must be living in a cave. One thing these guys can do is market. Definitely an established industry brand, the jury is still out on their long term business viability, and also, their service quality. From my research, I have heard the good, the bad, and the ugly about Vonage.

On an up note, they do offer unlimited local and LD for 24.94 and the first month is free. Not a bad deal.

Well, that's a wrap. Armed with the above, you have everything you need to launch out on your new life as a VoIP user, undoubtedly the highest priority on your to do list today. Fly now to your online application - God Speed!

I hope you find this helpful on your quest to , and enjoy all the money your about to save!
