Being a professional musician myself, I've seen more than one singer "step on their toes" by not warming up properly... especially early in the morning. Great info.

Indeed... Warming up is important in most exercises I know of, and that includes singing. We don't wanna strain our voices now do we? You're definitely right! It would be a shame if singers sounded like drunks. Hehe.. Nice list of songs sung by drink people..

I sang in choir all throughout school and I loved it. We did vocal warm-ups everyday and when I sing now I still find myself singing she scales to warm up my voice. I find them extrememly helpful.

Yes, many a times I have lost my voice without warm up exercises. Thanks for the article and also the "10 Songs Drunk People Like to Sing." Interestingly, the last song I sang to myself happened to be the first one on the list. It was sung, not unlike that in the video!
