Google has introduced a search by voice feature for Nokia S60 phones. Now Nokia S60 phone users instead of typing their queries with their 12-digit keypad can easily search for items in Google using voice search with the new Google Mobile App.

"We've received a lot of requests to develop our search by voice feature for these phones. We're happy to announce a new version of Google Mobile App for Nokia S60 that includes the search by voice feature for queries spoken in English." -
Google India Blog.

The Google Mobile App is an advanced version of the existing Google search available for mobiles now in m.google.com.

This Google Mobile App will work for Nokia S60 and most of Nokia N and E series phones.

You can download the Google Mobile App here (for India users) and here (for the US users).

The Google Mobile App also works for iPhone, Android and BlackBerry phones, for all other phone types this app will not work.

How the Google Mobile App works?

After you download the app, it will create a shortcut in your phone. When you open the shortcut and hold down the call button below the search button (as shown in the picture above), the Google voice search is activated and then you can submit your voice query.

According to Google India, the app works in other languages such as Indian and Chinese also.

It recognizes your location through Google’s My Location feature and provides relevant results to the area you are in.
