Volkswagen Caddy in India

One of the most poineering technological car company throughout the

world Volkswagen is now intending to launch its models in India. Since

after having plans to open a group of armored vehicles for India Army,

the company is now looking towards opening a series of pick ups -

Caddy Maxi Life. The company has extended merges of quality in terms

of services as a delivery van and a compact van simultaneously, all

leading to form a new vehicle class type. This volkswagen caddy model is a

extended norm of Caddy Eco-fuel that has already been shown in New

Delhi. This new volkswagen Caddy model has a increased seven passenger seating

capacity and a net volume of 4.2metre cube. With a payload of up to

800kg it can uphold up to 1,500kg as trailer load. With a maximum

power output of 75-103 kw it can deliver 102-140 PS. The range

specified will allow the customers to choose one according to the need

and requirement, all looking at the financial capability to purchase

the vehicle.

The Caddy we are looking is a duel engine type with efficiencies

like eco-friendly engine. Its been often termed as Caddy Eco-fuel.

This caddy is equipped with natural gas and gasoline type engines,

which was often shown at the Auto Expo 2008. Fuel tank capacity of

natural gas tank is nearly 26 kilograms. When fully filled this tank

can take the car to a distance of nearly 450 kilometers.

Further looking at the variations been available in this car model

we have two types; viz., Volkswagen Caddy 1.9TDI PD and the other

option available is Volkswagen Caddy 2.0SDI PD. Engine of the vehicle

has a capacity to provide 1896cc through its four cylinders. Being

capable of developing a 104Bhp at the rate of 4000rpm and on the other

hand it develops 184Lb/ft at the rate of 1900rpm. With the five

gearboxes, power steering, anti-lock system available, it has a

S/Di/Di type of braking system.

Besides this mini luggage vehicle Volkswagen is also thinking to

launch cars in Indian market so as to prove their market captivating

skills, here also.
