Tasks: Community Health is a free health clinic offering free primary and specialty care as well as medication. Specific need for Polish and Spanish speakers to interpret knowledge of medical terms not necessary must be at least conversational. Specific need for Illinois licensed volunteer physicians and specialists as well.

Volunteers are needed for day, evening and Saturday clinics.

Chicago Rape Crisis Hotline

Tasks: Help survivors of sexual assault and abuse. Provide crisis intervention and referrals to other counseling, medical, legal, and housing agencies. Nonjudgmental listeners needed. Although only women can answer the hotline, both men and women are needed to do outreach. Free training is provided.

Time Commitment: 50-hr. training, 12 hrs. a month for hotline, outreach is flexible
