WHISKEY BENT AND HELL BOUND
60Who says life has to be always by the book! Why can’t we break the rules from time to time? As a young lad I used to have the motto that I was Whiskey bent and hell bound!
If I break the rules from time to time does this mean that I will find myself hell bound?
No I do not think so; I think as long as I do not hurt someone or something else I will be safe to enter into the kingdom of heaven!
I hear so many Christian say to others that you to live the straight and narrow life in order to enter into heaven! I cannot see where this could even have the slightest case to be true. Christ had even allowed the thief that hung beside him to enter into the kingdom of heaven!
The bible says that we are of an imperfect creation; and furthermore there was only one human that was perfect and the world hated him so much that they crucified him! I do not believe that anyone of us was created of perfection because then the bible would be a book of lies!
So my question to all is why do we feel we have the right to even tell another human being that is living their life of sin they are condemned to hell??
We do not have that right there is only one ultimate judge and that is Christ. He will decide if our deeds on this earth will warrant eternal life or eternal death.
From time to time I will drink a mixed drink and from time you will hear a cuss word that will come out of my mouth! Now granted living whiskey bent and hell bound is not my cup of tea anymore but if it is my neighbor’s life I will only love him and befriend him and allow the rest to be between the God I serve and the friend I have!

Matthew I quickly tire of people that condemn others. I call them the holier than thous. I remember a verse or two where Jesus asked how can we see the splinter in someone else's eye when we have a mote in our own. What I never want to forget is that when I point a finger at someone else three are pointing back at me.
