World of Warcraft Paladin Leveling Guide

A Paladin class is one of the hybrid classes in WoW since they can be tanks, healers or melee damage dealers. As any other hybrid class, Paladins are really fun to play and can never get you bored since you can change your spec any time you like.

If you aren’t really familiar with paladins and would like to level up one fast, a wow paladin leveling guide might be something to look into. With a good guide you will learn all the basics when it comes to paladins like their abilities, PvE and PvP builds, spells and requirements. It can save a tremendous amount of time.

Best Leveling Spec for Paladin

The most important factor in the leveling process is your talent build. Many new players fail to create a good talent build so their leveling speed is really low in spite of the fact that they know what to do and so on. The best leveling spec for the paladin is Retribution. This is because it has a high damage output, while having a minimal mana usage. During the leveling you should focus on maximizing your damage output since, more damage dealt will eventually result in more XP gained. The most important for a paladin are the Seal of Command, the Vengeance, the Crusader Strike and the Divine Storm. If you are interested in a more detailed talent build, then check out a high quality paladin leveling guide.

Equipment for Paladin Leveling

When you are leveling your Paladin, selecting the right equipment can be really difficult because as a paladin there are so many statistics, which are important for your character. What is best for Paladin gear really depends on how you have spent your talent points (how you are spec'ed) and what you are doing. For example if you are playing mainly PvP, then you will have different requirements than someone spec'ed the same that is raiding. The same goes for leveling, where the gear requirements are different. Make sure you choose the proper equipment to enhance your skills and to help in grinding or raiding.

When comes to PvP gear, you need to still focus on the same core stats as leveling or PvE, however they become secondary to Stamina and Resilience. All you need to do is get the PvP set appropriate to your build. For Holy that is the Ornamented Gladiator's set, Retribution is the Scaled Gladiator's set and Protection is the Lamellar Gladiator's set. Each set has all of the stats you need for PvP. Which, interestingly enough is resilience followed by stamina, then the rest of the stats and bonuses related to your build.

The armour will help protect you from ever getting hurt and can also help when grinding. They are among the hardier on the hybrids because they can wear all types of armor.

Paladins have many weapon options available to them. They cannot however just pick up anything and fight with it. As a Retribution Paladin, pretty much nothing is as important as your weapon. You want the best 2-hander you can get at all times. This lovely piece of kit is the Haunting Blade, available as a drop from the Rare Elite boss, Deathsworn Captain. The super-slow speed makes it ideal for Seal of Command, and if the rest of your gear is at all decent you should be 3-shotting same level mobs with this.  Leveling a Paladin at 20 with Seal of Command is already cake, throw in this weapon and it’s a total joke. Shadowfang Keep is a great instance for leveling Paladins what with all the undead too.
