CM Punk vs. Umaga

This was a clash of two individuals with completely different styles. The opening match of Judgement Day was a good fight as both were in prime form. Umaga was returing from injury, hungry for success and Punk looked equally well with his MMA move background to counter the Samoan Bulldozer. Everybody including Punk realized that he cannot use strength to pose any damage to the super heavyweight Umaga. Both displayed good solid wrestling, and I thought it was great to see how Umaga finished Punk off with his signature side kick, splash, and Samoan spike, all in a blink, to seal his win.

ECW Championship: Christian (c) vs. Jack Swagger - (***)
The first match was followed by another good solid wrestling match, with both Christian and Swagger performing their signature moves in the ring. The funniest part which I simply loved to see was how Swagger kept trying for cheap tricks to steal a win only to see it getting backfired on himself and Christian getting the win. There was some mistake by the refree that could have made Swagger win. But overall, although this was a good match, I personally liked their match at Backlash more as it was more thought out.

John Morrison vs. Shelton Benjamin - (***1/4)
The match between Shelton and Jo Mo was astonishingly a hell of a fight. The springboard Shooting Star splash used by Morrison onto Benjamin was simply awesome and recieved huge chanting form the fans afterwards. Whereas, Benjamin had his own nice leaping kick which nailed Morrison off the turnbuckle. Both men gave their all in this match and it turned out great view for the fans.

Miz, Santino, Chavo Segment -

This segment just porvided the funny break in between, with real good humurous lines put in by Miz and Santino.

Intercontinental Championship: Chris Jericho vs. Rey Mysterio (c) - (****) Match of the Night

This match showed the best chemistry between two fighters of all the matches fought on the day. Rey was coming back from an injury but he looked absolutely 100% fir. The match saw some really good counters with Jericho countering Myterio's headscissors with a torture rack backbreaker. It was an excellent ringwork display from both, but I am still surprised Rey won so cleanly. But, the result was predictable as it was highly unlikely that Rey would have lost in his first Inter Continental Title Defense.

WWE Championship: Randy Orton (c) vs. Batista (**1/2)

This match had nothing extraordinary about it. Going into this match, an aura had been created which made the thought float into people's mind that Orton couldn't beat "The Animal" as Batista kept coming back gaining the upper hand over the Legend Killer several times during the match. Overall, the match seemed too dramatic and the time that the two guys took make it seem that way more. The ending will keep the fans thrilled with the prospect of the future. With the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair returning during the match, do we have a "The Legacy" vs the reformed "Evolution" in the making in the coming days. Wooooooooo that would be some clash.

John Cena vs. Big Show - (*3/4)

I just don't understand the drama that surrounds the matches of RAW brand, with so much time being used, and nothing as such surprising happening. The match between Cena and Big Show was not at all good in my view. As always, Cena took all the beating initially and then came back with his signature moves to beat the Big Show.

World Heavyweight Championship: Jeff Hardy vs. Edge (c) - (***1/2)

As usual, these two guys turned up a good match, although not as good as their clash at the Royal Rumble, with this one being more traditional. The highlights of the match were Edge giving a nice spear from the announcers table to send Jeff on to the floor while he was walking on the barricade; Jeef sending himself and Edge off the steel stairs. It was surprising to see Matt come into the ring and attack Jeff with the cast. When will this sibling rivalry finally end? The good thing was Edge winning the Edgecution but suprisingly, Punk didn't come to cash his Money in the Bank, as Edge was completely exhausted.
