Walmart is still a great place to shop no matter what the media tried to portray of the big box shopping experience. The prices are lower and inflation is higher without any significant gain to the average salary in America so why do people feel guilty about shopping somewhere that has a known reputation for being cheaper than the rest of the similar department stores?
The claimed treatment of workers is considerably appalling if you really believe that the stories in the news were the working norm for the big-box giant. Nobody wants to buy from a cheater. Or is it so terrible that we have to have some moral obligation to shop with someone else who costs more and could justify those raised costs on a marketing campaign to make their name brand better than Wallmart? What if it is these same stores that are dropping these stories into the media?
Before you judge the corporate America for percieved wrongs, try to keep the big picture in mind. You need to save if you are to survive on a lower salary. So why not the items that you have to buy several times a month out of necessity? Why not shop at Wall Mart? I don't have any qualms about it, and you just might run into me their buying my bulk TP with a clear conscious.

Store #1149 in Safford,AZ needs to drop the "EXPRESS" from their Tire & Lube shop. I took my truck in for a regular oil change on July 12, and 2hours, 38 minutes later I had to demand my truck back. I sat on a wire bench around smelly tires listening to that obnoxious intercom for over 2 hours. I did not purchase what was in my shopping cart, I just left. And I won't be back------to ANY Wal-Mart!

the last time i was in America, i went into on of your stores, i purchased a couple of your, as you now call it ( plastic wrap ) and i find that it is far superior to the English brand they sell here called ( cling film ) and i was wondering why you don't sell it here in the UK through you majority holdings of (ASDA ). I hope that you can direct ( ASDA ) to order it from you in the very near future. The manufactures name on the box is, Reynolds, and the colour I have is ROSE, I have looked on Reynolds web site and I now see that they do several colours in plastic wrap
I'd like to know who trains your employees. This last week the same murphy oil station in florida accepted huge charge after huge charge over and over on the same day over several days. Your company put me through hell because of either their lack of training or their dishonesty in not asking for a pictire ID The card had been cloned. I will never shop at your stores again.I intend to tell every person possible about this as well.Really good job guys!

WHY DON'T WE HAVE A WALLMART IN POUGHKEEPSIE ? OUR KMART IS A MESS, THE ONE ON RT 44. THE KMART AT THE MALL IS TOO FAR AWAY FOR SOME OF US. THEY CLOSED ALL OF OUR GOOD STORES, CALDORS, AMES ETC. WHEN YOU NEED SOMETHING YOU HAVE TO DRIVE TOO FAR. PLEASE TELL ME IF THEY MAY OPEN ANOTHER STORE, MAYBE WHERE AMES WAS IN HYDE PARK, OR THE OLD SHOPRITE, OR REPLACE THE KMART WHICH IS LIKE SHOPPING IN A HELL HOLE. LONG LINES NO STOCK, STUPID HELP. as a recent (asociate) at above mentioned. i must say over all, you will be hard pressed to find a better bargain. also find people willing to help as much as they can. the next time you are in a store: remind yourself !! you do not know every thing about everything.....we are not perfect ! for example, do you know the best bird seed to have? how about the best bike to own? does it have caliper brakes? does tha b,b,q. have adequate heating abilities? will the t,v, stand hold your 32 in, telly without falling apart?....gee, maybe we dont know everything.
its just a store people. we wanted to save and for some it didnt happen.so really make the best of it all place are rude or nice its the people not the store a store brings jobs
I hate WAL*MART!!!!!!!!! The lines are way too long, the place is always packed, and MOST OF THE TIME Target and the nearest grocery store (and favorite) Ingles-Markets, have better prices than wal*mart. Some people say that they don't treat women right. My mom said that in the morning, the employees yell W-A-L-M-A-R-T, that is so stupid. I LOVE SUPER TARGET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have shopped in a lot of different wallmarts, and wallmarts in Thomasville Al, and Selma Al. are the worst. Most of the cashers act like they are doing you a favor by waiting on you. they egnor you while talking to thier friends. They do not load your carts for you ,and when you load it they are waiting on the next customer so you get thier items along with yours. If you don`t load you own cart they give you an attiude. They should realize if it wasn`t for thier customers they would not have a job. Years ago i would have gotten fired for that.

At 12:30 today I took my "almost" purchases to the front of the store so I could check out. Only 2 checkout lanes plus 2 self check lanes were opened. Imagine the lines and abondoned carts with groceries left in the isles by fusterated shoppers who were waiting on persons with carts full of items trying to check themselves out. Can we say FIRE hazzard? This is a not a small store. It's a SUPER WALLMART at 35th Avenue and Southern in Phoenix, Arizona. It is SUPER in name only. Crappy is what I call it. If Wallmart is going to open a store, thus discouraging other user friendy businesses unable to compete from opening in my area, shouldn't they have a responsibility to allow people to get out of their stores without going postal?
PS - To Jash who says "people are fool who dont shop at wall-mart", may I say, I have a choice where I shop. Money isn't everything. It's not foolish to spend my money in businesses that care about their customers. I spend money on activities and entertainment because I enjoy being there. I happy for you that your Wallmart is nicer than mine.
Why do people write on here like Walmart is actually reading? If you have comments for WALMART then write to walmart from their website to their corporate office or their local walmart if it is about a specific store. www.walmart.com
Wallmart drops cheaper goods if they outsell similar higher priced ones. Even then, thier higher prices ones are cheaper than other stores. Just a matter of buisness sense.

i bought a pair of glasses from wallmart one week later theframe s broke when i took the glasses to the store i was told that since i hadent bought the warrenty thay wouldnt replace the glass frames the recept said that i could thke them back if i wasnt satisifed so much for that
Walmart discriminates against part time employees on associate medical coverage. After be coming eligible for Medical insurance after one Year, I applied to have myself and spouse covered for insurance. you can have yourself and children, yourself and other dependant and just yourself. corporate will not allow yourself and spouse. What is with that? Your Spouse is just as important as your children. who ever put this in there policy should be terminated. Only full time employees can have themselves and spouse covered. The Partime Employee doe the same work as a full time employee. Just because the part time employee cannot work full time, they should not be penalized for medical coverage.
