WalMart or Target? Where do you shop?

Target All the Way!
This will be a short Hub because it's really easy to answer....TARGET! I only step foot in a Walmart if I absolutely have to. Walmarts are always dirty and gross and I hate to sound mean but the weirdest or sketchiest (or both) people are always shopping in Walmart. The items for sale may be low-price, but they are also cheap in quality. I'd much rather pay for something that will last than save on something that will fall apart within days.
Target has much better quality in everything. The stores, the people, the items, everything. Target seems to be more selective in the products that they offer, and I feel good buying there knowing I'm getting quality. Even better, they are involved in quite a few charities for education and the community. Every dollar spent there means that some proceeds are sent to education, social services, and the arts. They are also partners with the Red Cross, the American Cancer Society, St. Jude, the United Way, and so many other organizations.
So I shop at Target. I feel more like I get what I pay for, and the prices are still decent. It is one of my favorite stores, because it has everything I could ever need: clothing, shoes, office supplies, electronics...some even have grocery stores! Target is definitely the better choice.

That is incredibly true. My parents live in a small town in Maine that was pretty much run by small businesses until a Walmart moved in nearby. Now everyone goes to Walmart (for much less quality stuff) instead of supporting the smaller businesses. The town is pretty much becoming a ghost town because no revenue is coming in.
I used to shop at Target more than Wal-Mart, but then I had a few bad experiences with Target's not so friendly return policy. Anytime I'm buying something that might possibly need to be returned down the road, I go to Wal-mart because they are much friendlier with returns.

Your response seems to be in sync with many. A common theme is that Walmart is ruining the small business...thoughts?
