Want A Higher Hubscore?

So you would like a higher Hubscore? Well that's what we all want and some people think that by writing many hubs, your Hubscore will improve. Not really. While many Hubs give a reader a wider variety on what to read, in personal experience, it's a matter of quality over quantity.

As i told a fellow friend (shoutout to TonyMac :) ) a Hubscore is like a plant. If you nurture the plant and take good care of it, it will grow and flower. Write good articles on things that interest you but do a bit of research to get the most quality from your Hub. Once you're satisfied, publish it and watch it become popular. While this may not hold true for every person, it is a general guideline.

When i write a Hub, i do a bit of background information research, throw in a little personal experience and other people's advice and hey Presto! A Hub is born. The friends i have made here are a great inspiration and meeting new people is a great way to find out what interests people and perhaps another idea is incubated, hatches into a plan and grows into a hub.

So good luck to everyone wanting a higher hubscore. I hope you can take some advice from this article.

I agree, Cisco, quality of hubs is very important. Not only for our personal hub score, but also for the integrity of HubPages. If we want this website to be a place internet searchers go to for information, we have to make sure we are putting out quality information.

Now that I have 15 hubs, I plan to go back through all of them and make them better.

Thanks for bringing up an important issue.

Blessings,

Leslie

I agree. Hubpages is the best site i have ever encountered and i am proud to write for them :) You have a valid point. Another thing Hubbers don't realize is if you put it odd tags related to your hub, it might be something someone's looking for.

Keep well,

CP

i am always tweeking my hubs. i did not know what tweeking meant until i began reading the works of other writers here. there is a well spring of knowledge at your finger tips on hub pages. you learn from the skills of great writers here. excuse me for not using capital letters. my left arm and shoulder are sore from staying so busy on hub pages. a great place to enjoy. your articles are fine. god bless

Also, the amount of traffic your Hub gets contributes to the HubScore, so the more you click on it to tweak it, the better it does :) (This is actually true, but only for the short run.)

Well my hubscore never went above 97. But yea what matters is the content and the amount of fans you have also how many and what people write about your hub as comments. I've noticed these things slightly increase the score by 3 or 4.
