Warcraft stories
64Lydiaa
Lydiaa was born in Northshire Valley. She was not properly taught the ways of a mage, she had learned magehood until she ventured out and met various wizards along the way. On the road to Stormwind City, she met an old wizard who made her her first wand. She was so ecstatic that she wanted to learn more. She found her way to the old mage teachers in the high tower and learned all she could from them. She swore from that day that anyone interested in magehood, she would make them a wand as well.
Some of her peers would tease her because she chose sword over staffs but she did not care, she carried her sword with pride along with her orb that powered her wand more.
One of Lydiaa’s cousins, Qyna, could not get the hang of being a mage and disliked it. In early mage school, Qyna dropped out when she met a friend, Gnarly, who showed her his warlock tricks. She loved them so much and liked the idea of calling forth someone from beyond to help her in life. Gnarly showed her to the old warlock in the basement of an old tavern who taught Qyna the warlock ways.
One of Lydiaa’s friends, Sharr, chose priesthood. Sharr was always sort of quiet and into nature and its healing effects. One day, she came upon this stone that looked strange, it was a bluish white stone that had a faint glow to it. When she switched it to her other hand, she had noticed the sore she had on her right hand was gone. The sore had been there since the day before when she cut herself on a blade. She took an interest in learning more about the stone. She went and seen the Jewel crafter on the other island. To help her while she studies priesthood, the jewel crafter took her on as his apprentice.

The Committed Yahoos (A World of Warcraft guild on Terokkar server)
The Committed Yahoos
The WOW club is a large social club for all race, class, and social status. Nivanth, a very distinguished night elf was prowling through Ashenvale one day. He was very down because the night before the pack he had been hanging with did not wish to prowl with him because they had plans to go to the depths of BlackrockMountain. Nivanth did not like to go because it was a place of rage and fire and brimstone and it was against his oneness with nature. As he prowled along he remembered the WOW club and all its members. He had quietly attended (many times as a stealth cat) its meetings every night.
That night Nivanth walked in very elegantly dressed in his tuxedo and as the Night Elf he is. That night he sat beside a man named Augur and a green-haired gnome named Gnarly. Nivanth could never understand gnomes as they seemed so advanced in technology but he introduced himself to Gnarly the gnome and he found Gnarly to be a very comical, down to earth gnome. Gnarly explained to him all the technological equipment Nivanth had run into many times before but never understood. Augur listened as well. Nivanth enjoyed talking with Augur as well except he was leery of the big blue form that moved periodically beside Augur. Gnarly also had a big blue form. The 2 blue forms would irritate Nivanth because they would stretch and tickle his nose in the process, not to mention disturb his concentration. He decided to ask Augur about the blue forms and Augur explained it was a soul from beyond that assisted him with his Azeroth duties. Nivanth was more confused… “From beyond?” but was again leery to ask Augur further as he just could not understand a form coming from beyond. One day, Gnarly’s blue form had asked Nivanth for some gold and he immediately refused and said “no”. The first chance he got he reported this to Gnarly but to Nivanth’s dismay, Gnarly asked in response, “How much did you give him?”
They started talking for each other’s guilds that they had been in for a long time and each were very dissatisfied in their current guild. Gnarly had told them of his recent situation where his guild was going to remove him because he would not raid with them. Nivanth and Augur found this appalling. To be removed for not raiding was just terrible.
Nivanth told Augur and Gnarly of an idea he had been pondering for a long time to get a guild together of folks who liked to work alone or in small groups but also wanted the social aspect of a guild. Gnarly and Augur thought this was a great idea. Augur suggested Nivanth head up the guild but Nivanth explained he was too shy and did not wish to be a leader. He asked Augur if he would mind heading it up, Augur agreed he would head up the guild. Gnarly concurred.
That night, Augur sent out announcements to the whole WOW club to advise of new guild starting and the type it would be and if anyone were interested to contact him. He received many replies back saying they would love to be a part of the new guild. Augur gathered the names of those who were interested then asked them for suggestions on guild name. He received several good choices for names and then put all of them up for vote to the group. It was voted to name guild The Committed Yahoos. So Augur bought a charter to register the guild with Azeroth. He needed 9 signatures so he made arrangements with those that were able to sign the charter and went to meet them. He traveled far from his home in Goldshire to the snowy mountains in Dun Morough then across the continent to climb the tree of Darnasus. Gnarly and Sarabellum were 2 of the charter signers. Augur finally got all 9 signatures and immediately went to the guild hall in Stormwind and registered the guild and so The Committed Yahoos were born on Feb 17, 2007.
Gnarly had mentioned to Augur about his friend, Qyna, who could design a poster for the guild. Qyna was at work working the Gnomeregan switchboard in Ironforge. So Augur waited in Ironforge till Qyna got finished and he asked her if she would like to create the poster for the guild. She gladly accepted and went immediately home to her loft above where she worked in Ironforge and started creating the website. It was finished that evening and Qyna posted it to the guild board for all to see.
Gnarly and Nivanth were Augur’s assistant leaders. Augur called them together for a meeting to decide about bringing on officers for the guild, policies, etc. They voted to make Krandor, Tris, Marina Dogben, and Qyna officers. Nivanth was in agreement of course but was thinking “oh no another blue form in leadership”. They then discussed the matter of a guild bank and Nivanth mentioned his cousin, Mathias who was very good at numbers. So it was agreed to bring Mathias on as guild banker.
Qyna made some big bags and sent them to Mathias to use for the bank. Mathias received so many things from the members that he was running out of space. He mentioned this to Nivanth and Augur and Augur decided he would bring in his little brother, Tcymat, to assist Mathias. Mathias and Tcymat met and decided Mathias would gather any extra armor and weapons and Tcymat would gather any materials for the various professions.
Everyone had fun leveling and helped each other with the more difficult tasks given to them by various Azeroth authorities.
TCY as the members nicknamed the guild grew larger as time went on. There was a girl who joined who loved to heal people. Her name was Arellia. She did however have one problem, she would fall very often even in spots in which were difficult to fall. The members would attempt to warn her ahead of time but many times she would find a hole that no one had seen. Krandor took her under his wing and helped her as much as he could. He gave his minions the duty of watching out for areas where Arellia might fall. Krandor had even asked Gnarly to invent a device that would detect dangerous areas, something his minions could wear.
A green-haired, beehive gnome warlock named Peepadeep joined along with her dwarf husband, MacDermott. Everyone fell in love with them with Peep’s high-pitched gnome voice and sweetness and McDermott’s humor.
Client, Amagingrace and Lauraelaine also joined the guild. Client brought a large number of is family which were also a delight along with him. Shonka and Gooddaugy also joined. Amagingrace, who was very good at recording history, became the guild historian, keeping record of TCY group activities. He even recorded Arellia’s notorious falls.
One mage that had joined brought amazement to TCY members. Nadefire pulled all sorts of tricks out for the guild to enjoy. Several times he would pull a whole table of goodies out of his robe pocket in which TCY could feast.
October came and along came a dashing, young warrior named Cydogg along with his wife, Gazellissa, a mage. Since they were at the same advanced skill as the members, they joined in to help clear dungeons in defense of Azeroth. Amagingrace kept record of all.
(The guild lasted from Feb 17, 2007 to April 2009 when new leadership took over and changed it to their own guild)
