had a wasted day today
didn’t do a thing
did all kinds of didn’t want to do
didn’t like myself then

Hi Pittan, thanks for your comments. I enjoy trying to express myself within short poems that say much more than their subject or length.
Russ...I know the feeling, and the aftertaste of moments lost...
If Pittan is looking for information perhaps he should read some of Patty Inglish's Hubs which are full of useful information....Poetry is all about nothing and everything...it stretches your mind..
Like pebbles on the shore sometimes we just lie there. And sometimes we get washed by the sea and sometimes we are burnt by the sun. All of these things leave feelings. These few words, Russ, are so expressive of those feelings. Thanks for sharing them.
Information cannot be measured by the quantity of words but by the message the words convey - and sometimes fewer words make for a more powerful message.
Love and peace
Tony
Ah, those didn't want to do days. Depressing. Necessary. I love the feeling of the rocks. I would like a wasted day of staring at them.
One of my favorite motto's is "don't just sit there, do nothing!" I prefer that to the "didn't want to's"
@ pittman- Getting a glimpse of life through the eyes of another, to help one understand humanity and thus oneself, not only is both useful and informative, it is also almost priceless. Perhaps if you googled poetry or looked it up on wikipedia, you would have something "useful and informative" to write your own hub on.
I myself give this two thumbs up!
Wow, thank you, much appreciated, especially from you guys. Sometimes the simplicity rings true.
Russ
I must say, it's not at all wasted - I mean what about this poem? :D
Hi Russ, I suggest that you write Haiku (5+7+5) or Tanka (5+7+5+7+7) that might squeeze your mind a bit into a corner and allows your intuition to come out...
Tanka:
What an awful day
silence all around
undisturbed by me
space for music from within
filled from far beyond myself

Thanks BeiYin
What can I say Russ?
Pittan is looking for information? Don't we have Google for that?
Poetry is pure essence and it is the most effective way to create an emotional experience, to touch and to intrugue.
I guess poetry is not for everybody to appreciate; Pittan is a lost cause so please write for the rest of us. Thank you
Hi Petra, thank you! I appreciate your kind words.

I think a hub should be informative and useful for the visitor. Writing about nothing isn't staying with the true spirit for creating a Hub
