I wanted to watch the season finale of Grey's Anatomy by live streaming feed over the Internet because I knew that I wouldn't be at home while it was being aired. Once again, I was scheduled to be at work on that Thursday. Luckily, I have a work computer that is connected to the Internet. I knew other people watch the show online every single week, but I had never found out how to do. Well, I finally figured it out, and I learned a couple of lessons along the way.

I had no idea there was a software program that I could download that gave me the ability to watch grey's anatomy finale online. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I went ahead and got it installed on my work computer before the finale just to make sure everything was going to work ok. Sure enough, I can watch any of the shows on ABC and thousands of other channels for that matter.

I discovered that there are more benefits to this software than just watching Grey's Anatomy.  I love tv shows and movies, and I get plenty of both with this program.  In fact, it appears that I now have access to over 3000 satellite TV channels now on my computer.  Another great thing is that you can use this software in dozens of countries.  Sometimes, I travel abroad, so it will be no problem using it in Europe, let's say, to watch US tv shows.  There are no recurring fees with this software, so I'm actually thinking about cancelling my cable TV.  Why do I need it now?

What is required to use this TV to PC program?

1.  A computer or laptop
2.  DSL or Cable Internet connection

That is all that is required, so they make it really easy to get started.

I don't know about you, but I'd much rather watch the finale live versus recording it on DVR or something.  It's like eating apple pie without ice cream or something.  There are some websites out there that will have a recorded version that you can watch the following day.  Just google something like "watch grey's anatomy finale recorded."  That should pull up a dozen video sites that will give you access the next day.
