Heroes TV show is my favorite TV series. The plot is exciting as it revolves around ordinary with superhuman or rather extraordinary abilities, more like superheroes like Superman, Spiderman of Marvel comic series, except that the characters do not don on special costumes.

If you have not watched it, you can watch it once you download this software. The entire plot is mapped out just like stories within a comic book. You will see the entire series broken up into different episodes, each characterized by an episode title. Each episode is a story in itself.

What is so special about the Heroes TV series is that each season is different. New characters are added into each season with different supernatural powers of course. Heroes is the creation of NBC, written and produced by Tim Kring. First aired on 25 Sept 2006, it has won millions of fans worldwide.

The whole plot talks about the different stories of individuals from all walks of life suddenly developing superhuman powers. Some meant for good, while others mean for evil. Their lives are intertwined together, even though they do not know one another at the beginning. In the overall scheme of things, they all play a role, either in causing the destruction of mankind or in saving it.

You will see the different disasters that take place or “predicted” to happen depicted through graphical paintings. As you can see, the series is produced by Universal Media Studios with Tailwind Productions in California, LA.

The first season was a full 23 episodes, drawing crowds as much as 14 million viewers in US alone. The 24-parts second season was slightly behind with 13 million viewers, not including the millions of viewers worldwide. Sadly, only 11 episodes of Heroes Season 2 were broadcast due to a 100 day strike. Eventually, the third season was aired on 22 Sept 2008, 2 years after the first season.

Presumably one of the best, this season will get you acquainted with the comics-style depiction of each episode. Isaac Mendez, the painter, acquired the superhuman abilities to paint the future. As you will soon realize, he painted a picture of Manhattan’s destruction in “Genesis”. This painting is the link that connects all the heroes in the season together.  In Season One, different characters begin to realize their superhuman abilities. And this of course has a certain impact on their personal lives. While some like Nathan simply ignores and pretends not to have any special abilities, others like Peter Petrelli are eager to trace the roots and find out what is happening to them. This is the season where you see a scientist, Mohinder Suresh, who decides to continue his father’s work in genetics. It appears that Mohinder’s late father has made some great discoveries and was able to provide a link to what is happening in these human beings with superhuman abilities.  Noah Bennet, the father of Claire Bennet, a sweet, lovely girl with the ability to regenerate, ie she is almost indestructible plays a doting father who has a secret. He is actually representing the “Company”, a powerful organization with the intention of manipulating the superhumans.  You will see how they slowly discover and use their abilities and the way the story develops to prevent New York from being destroyed by a massive explosion. Why did NY city explode? You got to watch it to find out. 

The previous season ended at Kirby Plaza. What happens now in Heroes Season Two is set in a period 4 months after Season One’s Kirby Plaza fallout. In this season, the Heroes are drawn into a race to stop the Shanti virus from breaking out. This is where the story starts to unveil the origins of the founding members of the Company and how a past enemy returns to haunt the members of the Company.  If you have watched Heroes TV show Season Two, then you would know about Hiro’s admiration for Takezo Kensei, a legendary samurai. It turns out that he is somewhat “related” to Takezo Kensei. The story takes a twist when he falls in love with Takezo’s love interest. 

Season Three sees our villain Sylar regaining his powers. In episode 1 – the Second Coming, Matt, our dear cop finds out who shot Nathan, while Sylar, the villain of all seasons is after Claire in order to recover his abilities. You can watch the different episodes via Amazon.
