I was wondering how to watch the final episode of House this year over the Internet, as I knew I would be away from my home that evening. I was on some TV forums and had saw people talking about watching their favorite TV shows online, so I thought it would be worth checking into. I found a few sites that offered this capability, but I was a little disappointed in the variety of options. I thought I would create this post to let everybody know how to do this.

I discovered a software program that allows me to watch the House season finale online. I downloaded it just the other day to test it out to see if it would actually work like it stated it would. Since then, I have been watching many TV shows live on Fox, so when the House finale comes on I'll just pull up the software to watch it over the Internet.

The only two requirements necessary for this software program to work is a computer or laptop and an Internet connection that is cable or DSL.  Dial-up Internet will not work as the feed will not be fast enough to support a live broadcast.

Not only do I have access to TV shows, but also movies, sports, news, and a lot more that I'll never watch.  It is just like having satellite TV but on  your computer because I get over 3000 channels.  There are no recurring fees, monthly or annually.  I'm really thinking about cancelling my cable TV subscription because I could save a lot of money.

There are so many sites that will let you watch TV episodes from the previous night for free.  In other words, you can watch it the next day.  But, I really like to catch House live, so I didn't spend too much time getting information on how to use these "rerun sites."
