First episode of season 6 of the popular TV series LOST will be aired in January 2010. According to web sources it will last 17 episodes (just like season 5). Season 6 is planned to be the final season of the show. The day the series will be over will come in May 2010. This is supposed to be the final season of the LOST show; which will come to an end in May 2010. Carlton cuse, the executive producer of the show says: “For us it was a huge advantage to get an end date to the show and that really allowed us to turn a corner."
The story line of season 6 is kept secret, however small pieces of information leaked and now we know that Emilie de Ravin, the Australian actress that play Clair for the first 4 seasons (pregnant girl hanging around with Charlie), has a contract for the sixth season. According to executive producers, the story line will take a different way in next season. However, by the end of the season, the story will make a circle around.

God damn.... I can't wait that long. :'(
The writers of this show are geniuses...no other word can describe them. It is the best show since The Prisoner and Star Trek The Original Series.....both written over 40 years ago. Since then, only Twin Peaks has come any way near Lost in terms of originality and clever writing.....otherwise it is the best show for over four decades. It is a modern classic in the very sense of the phrase....and we are privileged to be watching it unravel. Believe me when I say this show will be getting talked about in 40 years time....just like people still discuss The Prisoner's allegorical leanings to this very day. Genius. Mr Abrams and Co. I salute you.
My theory is that the hydrogen bomb killed everyone on the island.... leaving only Richard, Ben, Desmond, and Penny to finish out the series. Sounds reasonable, right?

Come on, that'd make for a terrible show. They're great characters, but a whole Season revolving around just those characters!? It's a tad ridiculous to be honest.
There are many articles all over the net where the actors who play Jack, Sawyer, etc, say, or at least imply, that they'll be in the next series.

i think the bomb killed all as it said "the Incident" and Hugo gona play Mayor Role in next season as he can talk to dead, and only he will know the truth about things like Jacob death,"Lock death" & other stuff and will try to explain,but other will not believe as they think hes crazy.
But at the end someone gona bring them back together trough the Power of the island. (i gues its gona be Lock - as his "real dead" body have not decayed for long time after 2nd crash and hes gona be resurrected by some power (Ilana and Richard will figure something i guess) and we gona see 2 Loks, one against each other: Good Jon Locke and Bad Jon Locke.
The bad one is possessed by the mysterious person (like he do with Christian-Jack Father,as obviously he can only possess/Duplicate or whatever ppl who died on Mainland and theyr body taken on the Island), and Good Locke gona be the Rezzed Body of Lock "Real One".

I think the story is going to revolve around the conflict between Jacob and the guy who wants to kill him ( the bearded guy ) who is pretending to be lock. The bomb will change the past or future whatever you want to call it and oceanic 815 will never crash but they (the cast) will all be brought back into the picture towards the finale...
hows that for a story ? :-)
