Jeff Pulver, the Vonage founder, wants to make watching online video experience similar to traditional TV and his new site brings tops shows from major broadcasters into one site.

Jeff Pulver launched this new website PrimeTimeRewind.Tv along with Amit Shafrir. The site allows visitors to watch all their favorite shows from NBC, Fox, CBS, USA, ABC and TNT into one site.

This year major broadcasters have started streaming their videos on to their online sites. ABC.com, CBS.com, and others began to show their regular TV shows online for free. But if you have to watch a number of shows you have to visit many sites, PrimeTimeRewind.Tv wants to make it simple by watching all of the shows in just one site.

Pulver said in his blog about why it is different watching the shows in his site:

While this is an exciting development for USA based consumers, the discovery and viewing experience on each individual site continues to be rather challenging. Until today, there has not been any single platform available for watching all of the otherwise available Prime Time TV programs; each network requires visiting and hunting through a very different site and different user experience.

Pulver and Shafrir are able to do this by accessing the embed codes of each of the network provides for their video they are streaming. It makes it convenient for users to see them all in one site without the need for registration or downloading a different video client or software.

The cube shown in the picture represents the TV guide of the shows available in PrimeTimeRewind.TV and the user can click any of the cells to watch the video. The quality of the video is as good as the original one.

The broadcast networks have no problem with this arrangement, since PrimeTimeRewind.Tv allows their video player and ads. Pulver is just syndicating their content and provides more traffic for them.

PrimeTimeRewind.Tv is very easy to use and the quality is excellent, so you can watch these shows anytime at your convenience. It brings a TV like experience.
