I have found that there are many benefits to using this software to watch TV online.  The best one of all is the lack of recurring fees.  You know that cable bill that you have paid every month your whole life?  Well, there's nothing like that.  Also, this program will work anywhere in the world that there is a DSL or Cable Internet connection.  You must have DSL or cable internet, though.  Dial-up simply will work fast enough.  But, most people are on high-speed now days, so it shouldn't be a problem.  If you're not then just go down to your local McDonald's, library, or cafe where they have computers that you can use.

Another advantage is that I get over 3000 channels, which is a crazy amount for someone like me who is used to less than 100 through the cable company.  I can watch TV, news, history, kids channels, sports, movies, weather, and a lot more.  Some of the shows are from other countries in Europe, Asia, Australia, South America, and others.  I didn't to install any hardware either.  Just downloaded the software, and I was ready to go within minutes.  It is 100% legal because of research that has been conducted for the past seven years.

This season of AI has been absolutely phenomenal.  You how they always say, "this is the best talent yet?"  Well, I think that holds true with the contestants in 2009.  I refuse to settle for a recorded version, so I will watch the American Idol finale online.
