Getting Leads for a Work at Home Business

LEADS!! We all need em! If there was only a sure cut method to get leads, running a home business would be a piece of cake. (I THINK) I'm a bit of a Redneck and I don't know if that's a hinderence or an asset. The ways I generate leads may not be the way the average person get leads but they work for me.

First of all, I don't harass the people I know! I let them come to me and I've actually got a few of the people I know started working at Home. I have given my e-mail address out every chance I get. Especially to hungry Vendors that want to include me in their e-mail list to send me their monthly specials. (Salesmen seem to always add you to their personal e-mail list to try to build a personal relationship with you) They send you jokes etc. (Just like all the people they CC) I take all the CCs e-mail addresses and send them a message simply stating I got their e-mail from a mutual friend that thought they may be interested in a home based opportunity and ask them if they would like to subscribe to my newsletter or receive any special offers I may be promoting. I always put in an opt out so they cannot claim spam mail. This works well for me. Also, I don't use an Autoresonder for the first few times I talk to someone. This shows a true personal interest in their success, showing yourself as a working person (JUST LIKE THEM) Next; everywhere I go I leave my Business cards ( The local Kwik Sak or Grocery Store) Any place that has a Bulletin Board. I keep my cards in my car and take them everywhere. (my cards have my e-mail address on them) alot of people would rather e-mail you or go to your website about an opportunity instead of talking to you first hand.

Whenever the opportunity arrises (Someone asks How I can afford that) (I'm a Poor boy):) I simply tell them I make a little extra cash working at Home. This excites most of the people I run into and they say somethin like "I'd like to make money at home" at which point I'll give them my business card. I get alot of referrals from a friend of a friend. A also have joined a few safelists and a couple of them super blasters but that hasn't worked to well for me. I do not buy any list! I tried that once, I purchased a list of 50,000 names from a safelist and of that list I received 85 responses and none of them positive.

This last year has been A FANTASTIC year for me, First off I purchased 10 acres of mountain land. (Surrounded on three sides by the national forest). Next, I paid it off. (Thanks to my Home Business) I purchased a Motorcycle that I've wanted for years. I'm not trying to brag! I just want you to know it is achievable if you are persistant in your endeavors.
