The number one way that we show our husbands that we love them is through sex. However, there are a lot of other ways to show our love besides this. Now, don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with sex but sex is not the answer to everything.

Cooking a good meal for your husband will always show him that you love him. Men love to eat and they say that a way to a man's heart is his stomach. I believe this to be true. You don't have to be a gourmet cook and if you are no good at cooking and at least make an attempt, I'm sure your husband will appreciate the effort that you put in. A simple pasta dish is usually always a good choice and pasta is relatively easy to cook. You can add cheese or a tomato sauce to the pasta or even both. Pasta is always a good, easy choice.

Sometimes it is not the big things in life that will show your husband you love him. Sometimes it can be the smallest of things. Take for instance, my husband's birthday was last month. I was not able to go shopping for him because of my severe back pain. I really wanted to get him an Xbox 360 for his birthday. What I did instead was went through our digital photos and gathered up eight photographs of us traveling throughout Canada over the past four years. I made a birthday card from these photos. I also struggled with pain that day to bake him a homemade birthday cake. My husband appreciated both of those gifts probably more than I ever thought and it was all because I made that extra effort and even went through pain just to make his birthday pleasant for him. He enjoyed his cake very much and he even hung the card I made for him on our living room wall. I think he appreciated the card and the cake more than if I had have gotten him an XBox 360.
