This day and time our young men and women are engaging in sexual activities and not thinking about the consequences. Well I was pregnant at the young age of 18. Now more girls at the age of 14 and up are getting pregnant and the fathers are no older. This has become a real issue in our society and it seems to low key. The problem could be that they have to much freedom and are allowed to date to early in age. If you are going to let them date educate them on prevention and consequences of sex. The teen pregnancy rate has risen above average from a year ago.

Babies having babies is no longer just a saying it really is happening. A young should know all the methods of birth control and which is better or her. They both should know that a condom is not a 100% proof of protection. So many young people have become parents and said but we used a condom. Ladies also know that the pill alone is not complete protection. So many things can counter act with the pill and cause it to malfunction. There is the Or-tho Patch which also has its faults. All of the birth control methods have side effects, Except for one sure method NO SEX!

I don't know if you this, but there is weeks of each month that can plan a big role in whether you get pregnant our not. A week before you have a menstruation and a week after it are the two weeks that you may want to avoid sex. This is the time when the female is ovulating and most likely to become pregnant. Always use a condom in combination with other birth control methods. I really think that there should be sex educations classes in all middle and high schools and made as a accredited course. Then maybe we would not have so many of our young kids finishing school with babies.

Young ladies please realize that douching after sex does not prevent pregnancy. Neither does going to the bathroom and urinating. Please if you forget to take a pill then you need to take it right away and avoid sex for 2 weeks. If the young man really loves you he will respect your decision to wait. Young men wearing a condom doesn't prevent you from becoming a father always. So if you don't want to become a father talk to your girl and make sure that she is also taking prevention measures. Don't think that you can remove yourself at that moment and you are safe. One drop can change both of your lives.
