On my way to work while listening to the radio and the rain beating down on my vehicle, the radio personality noted some of the people that made the Forbes 100 Most Powerful People list. As he went through a few names I had to agree with him, we follow some seriously foolish stuff.

First of all, someone explain to me why Osama bin Laden made the list? Why is it that a man, we supposedly cannot find, or speak to, or get our hands on, makes a list and in the top 50?!! He continued with the list and I started to think about all the foolishness we follow today. Do we really care about why Lou Dobb's quit CNN? Millions of people quit their jobs everyday and it is not newsworthy. Why does Rush Limbaugh believe everything he reads? He has not reared his ugly head since he was punked on a fake blog....WHO CARES! Do we really need to know whose hair is hot and whose is a mess? They get out of bed like we do folks, we have bad hair days too! If that cow lick won't sit down, get a wig or serious gel, can I recommend Bed Head?! I can support Rhianna but there is a difference between supporting a cause and milking it for all it is worth. Most dangerous places to live (in the movies), really? And the winner......Jon Gosselin! This man needs to just accpet the fact that he was not ready for marriage, family or fame. His wild oats are now sour! He is still a child and needs to grow up! Accept this Jon, you will be paying for the rest of your natural life!  Those children did not deserve this at all.

I am interested where the sales are and the best bargains, what kind of deal I can get on a car or house and where to take my next vacation. I am also more concerened about my faith, my family and their health and what I can do to keep them safe.

Next time one of these stories hits the news, immediately call your bank and check your bank account to see if the dollar amount increased any. If it didn't, change the channel or surf the web again!
